We are engaged by Prisme International to work with their team in developing a new show for the Pyramids that would play multiple times each night. Our work on the nightly show consists of the design of an immersive audio system to deliver 3D audio to the live audience and a control system to autonomously trigger the many technical systems, synchronised to the sound track. We are also looking at innovative ways of delivering narration content in multiple languages simultaneously.

Nightly show commissioning project
We were engaged by Artists In Motion to provide technical advice in the design and implementation of the lighting and video displays that are presented on the replica Eiffel Tower and building facade of The Parisian Macau. ULUMBARRA THEATRE - 2015
Auditorium building project
An adaptive reuse project giving a new life to the old Bendigo Jail, a new 1,100 seat theatre with rehearsal spaces and classrooms represents a significant investment in education and the arts in regional Victoria.
The theatre is fitted with technical facilities to support the majority of performances that will be staged in the venue. Our scope was to design and manage the implementation of the audio systems and cabling infrastructure throughout the theatre and rehearsal spaces.

ANZ STADIUM - 2013
Audio systems upgrade
ANZ Stadium engaged Auditoria to create and manage a design, procurement and commissioning process to upgrade the main sound system. From a total of 18 designs the final three were evaluated in a listening test in the stadium. The final system was selected and installed during May 2013 ready for State of Origin 1 on June 5 with a capacity audience of just over 80,000.

NBCS - PROJECT BARCELONA - 2016
New performance space project
A project that began as a vision of a more active and inclusive learning environment, based around the architecture of an airport terminal, Project Barcelona is a glimpse into the future of education for Northern Beaches Christian School.
Our scope was to design and manage the implementation of audio, video, lighting and control systems for the project that includes an airport-style information LED screen measuring 8m by 1.5m and a performance LED screen for production use on an outdoor stage measuring 6.5m by 4m.

NIDA PARADE THEATRE - 2013
Audio systems upgrade
NIDA engaged Acoustic Studio and Auditoria to perform a combined assessment of the Parade Theatre sound system and room acoustics to identify a perceived lack of sound quality in the room. After reviewing the report NIDA commissioned Auditoria to work with JANDS Electronics to design a new loudspeaker system to meet the needs of regular users of the venue.

SCCVC TRAINING THEATRE - 2010
New training facility construction project
Auditoria was engaged by the Catholic Education Office on the advice of Great Big Events to design and document all technical systems and infrastructure for the Vocational Training Facility. The training theatre is a fully equipped multi-use performance area with a highly flexible and adaptable rigging and lighting system which won a 2011 IES Lighting Design Award. The tension-wire-grid, which can be seen in the images, was specially engineered to take double the typical live load to allow two groups of four on the grid at any one time.

SCCVC RECORDING FACILITY - 2010
New recording facility construction project
Auditoria engaged Acoustic Studio as a sub-consultant to assist us in the acoustical elements of the recording studio. The image above shows the control room, oversized to allow team-based operation of the facilities.

NBCS PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE - 2009
New building project
Recognised as education innovators, Northern Beaches Christian School engaged Auditoria to design the technical production systems for the performing arts spaces and education systems for the SCIL centre.

QUESTACON JAPAN THEATRE - 2009
Audiovisual systems refurbishment
The intention of the upgrade was not only to replace tired equipment, but to provide a greater technology platform for the creative delivery of educational seminars by the Questacon Excited Particles; an award winning performance team who deliver over 1,300 shows per year in the facility. The audio system is based on a 7.1 surround sound layout with the option for 16 channel sound field usage for specially created presentations. A pair of subwoofers are installed under the seating to provide the massive energy required to simulate a rocket launch.

SYDNEY TOWN HALL, CENTENNIAL HALL - 2008
Audio systems upgrade
Auditoria was engaged by The PA People to create multiple designs for the historical room to be included in their tender response for the design & construct contract. Our preferred design was selected after a listening test in the venue.

ST BARNABAS CHURCH - 2012
New auditorium construction project
Auditoria was engaged by St Barnabas Church initially to design a highly intelligible, high performance audio system – suitable for a contemporary band – that could not be seen by the congregation. Auditoria worked very closely with FJMT architects and Acoustic Studio to integrate the high performance system into the building. Auditoria’s scope was subsequently increase to include vision and lighting design for the worship space.

CGGS RECITAL HALL - 2005
Audio upgrade
The recital hall was originally designed for classical music performance and the architectural acoustics specifically support that usage. Shortly after opening the hall the School found the room was very busy with activities that the room was not designed for. The acoustical response of the room made simple tasks like school assemblies very difficult due to gain-before-feedback.
Auditoria was engaged to design and manage the installation of a high performance loudspeaker system that would provide highly intelligible speech and good quality music playback without adjusting the acoustical performance of the room. A line-source loudspeaker system was installed and provided the required pattern control to deliver sound energy to the audience and avoid exciting the room beyond the typical noise floor.

CITY IMPACT CHURCH - 2009
New auditorium construction project
Auditoria was engaged by City Impact Church to design the audio and performance acoustics for the new facility which they built themselves.

SHIRELIVE - 2010
New auditorium construction project
Auditoria was engaged by the Church to design and manage the implementation of a high performance audio system for their new 1,000 seat auditorium in Sydney’s south. The entire project design team worked very hard to stretch the modest budget and deliver an excellent worship environment for the growing Shirelive congregation.

HILLSONG CHAPEL - 2006
New chapel construction project
Auditoria was engaged by Hillsong Church to work with the architect, acoustical consultant and Hillsong Production to design and manage the installation of a high performance audio system for the uniquely shaped and acoustically challenging Chapel.
